What type of metal do you clear?
All of it. We want to buy any sort of scrap metal that you want to get rid of. Call us or use the enquiry form to begin the process.
Do I need to separate my scrap metal grades?
Separation is not essential, but it certainly helps. Separating scrap metal into different grades on your end is the easiest way and allows us to pay you a better price on what is collected.
What if I am unsure of what metal grades I have?
Not a problem. A member of our team can help you identify your scrap metal grades, either over the phone or we can come on a site visit and view your process and waste materials in person.
Is there a limit to how much scrap metal can be collected?
Short answer – No. Whilst our collection vehicles have maximum carrying weight limits per load, we are able to schedule frequent collections to keep up with the supply of your scrap metal. In a situation like this, you will be paid per load collected. Details on this can be discussed on enquiry.
Do I need identification to sell scrap?
Yes. In line with scrap metal trading legislation, anyone supplying scrap who is not a registered company must provide valid identification. Accepted ID includes a UK photocard driving licence (with address) or a UK passport (or passport of another nationality) supported by a recent utility bill (issued within the last 3 months).
